more on that subject and feeling pretty grody myself.
so if you wake up in the morning ready to relive last nights dinner, you can safely assume you have the flu . yup, it got me. feeling pukey. I've resisted so far. tacos are one thing I don't like to relive.
and of course i wonder, could i be prego? there is no way but it gives ya the same grody feeling.
or me anyway. and is a nice reminder i don't want to feel this way long term. easy cheap reminder.
on the gymboree post(see next post), i did resell alot of Joys and Liberty's clothes. to kids resale shops like once upon a child or some others. and since I'd never dried them they weren't faded or pilled or stained. and then I'd iron them before i sold. i got top dollar let me tell ya. I'd take the cash from the kids resale shop and go buy more at gymboree. same thing as Ebay. but then when i had Hope i had nothing for her. and bought alot of the same things again at the resale shops. and then the obsessive matching for 3 started.
but it's true it's not as fun to shop for boys. which helps immensely. that and my big boys refuse to wear polo shirts, and hate sweater vests with a passion. and that is the best part about those stores.
my fave thing now? is to buy gymboree, and GAP at SAVERS! yeah love it. it looks pretty darn great, no stains, barely used. and i pay hardly anything for it. and since it was used when i got it, i wash and dry it. win win for everyone.

The pictures of you kids are always so cute now I no why---they have such cute outfits from Gymboree. Loved your story, you always make me laugh! I really love to go thrift store shopping you should try Mesa Thrift on main street.
I love Savers!
It gets tiring with all the sales and re-selling. Plus I was getting super obsessed about the laundry. That is why I am an Old Navy girl. And I LOVE Goodwill's Monday $0.25 clothing sales!! This week I was able to get 3 Arizona fleece pull overs for Joseph, an Arizona fleece vest, 2 Old Navy fleece pull overs for Emma, a dress for Olivia and a sweater from Old navy for a quarter each. FABULOUS! No stains, no piling on the fleece. And who cares if they ruin it?
You really should get into couponing girl. You will LOVE the deals and save SO much money. This week and next week at Walgreens and CVS is EXCELLENT. Just go do the deals I posted and you will save so much money. I have gotten $160 of Jane makeup for less than $3. It ends Saturday!!!
I think last year for easter is the last time I also spent retail on clothes at Gymboree...I sold alot of Layna's things on Ebay but fortunetly I didnt need it again. I wish I would have saved all the boy clothes..kind of regreting it right now..Baby has hardly anything to wear...Ohwell summer is coming and Diapers and T's is all he really needs...Okay maybe not...but at home it is the case..
After Gymboree I got into the addiction of The childrens place. since you get so much more for you buck...at least compared to Gap, Gymboree, Limited Too...and so on
Now Maybe I will try Savers...never tried it but so many people go there..I might as will check it out..of course that is when things are so tight.
I still cannot get over you laundry issue. Honestly keeping up with laundry for a family your size is huge. Add in that you would be so careful and not dry. Well thats amazing to me. I could not live that way. I wash dry and stain treat as needed. Bleach pen and oxyclean work miracles.
I hope you feel better. I was hoping your would escape the bug entirely.
Ick on the flu! I hope you feel better soon!
Sorry you're sick!! The last time I had the flu I felt the same way, did not want to go through that feeling everyday with a pregnancy.
NO to the flu!!!!
Loving the Savers idea....I still need to get pointers on that place sometime!
Isnt it great to find bargains? we use to have Once Upon A child, but it closed. We have no saver or anything like that. Bummer. That is why I am a huge Ebay addict! I mean HUGE! My husband tells me he is going to close down my Paypal account. I dont think so buddy!
Oh girl - I SO can't do the matchy matchy thing. Not to save my life. My poor kids all wore smocked stuff - even my boys - because that's the extent of my skill.
This is funny......last night I was at bunco and suddenly felt like I was going to ralph. But not that extreme. Then as I sat there, I was like, wow, this feels exactly like morning sickness. yet it's not as I'm sterilized, but it freaked me out for a second......I'm with you.......boys are definitely NOT as fun to shop for as girls.
Wow they have that great stuff at Savers? I know I've seen one around someplace, not sure if we have one here. I hope you feel better very soon - nothing worse than worshiping the porcelin thrown!
oh no! I hope that you get to feeling better super soon! I still need to get to Saver's, and see what all I am missing. I think about it, then time slips away from me.
Sorry I am just catching up on your blog I haven't been around for a few. And I have totally missed you! I hope you are feeling better tonight andnot so ill! Yuck the flu is so nasty and I do the same thing... you know start questioning my "with child" status... So I hear ya! Get well.
♥ I've never even heard of Savers! I'm so out of the loop for good clothes! sigh...
Dude. I got it, too (the flu, that is.) I hate it. OH I was the same way with my Gymbo obsession (only w/Kendall though.) Now, I only buy them at thrift stores (don't have a Savers.) I love it because now since I am not buying it new, she can wear it regularly and (gasp!) I don't flip a freakin' lid when she stains it.
I love gymboree too. Thank goodness we do not have it here in our mall.
I live in BFE remember.
Get feeling better!
Whoa! Recycled taco's! Not good Maverick not good!
