Me, with my new hair cut, really it is pretty much the same as it has been, just cleaned up in back, and a little longer in front. lots of volume. Ashley took a couple picutres. maybe i'll post one of those if she sends them to me.



Joy's FIRST BUS RIDE! momentous occasion that it is. we had to document it.


She was SUPER THRILLED WITH IT! and holy cow so exciting to pass by our bank, and the pizza places we know! and wow this was a speedy bus ride. hard braking, and fast turns. it was quite the first ride! she was in heaven! (she is used to that kind of driver, Lance tells the mechanic i drive my van like it's a race car.)


Friends spotting! Andrea, and Ashley! way fun to be on the same trip! this was the picnic part of the day. LUNCH. and then we were done.


Joy told me a story today about a boy in her class. here is a glimpse into a chat with Joy. i need to do this often. it just makes me SMILE. and someday she won't be as open with the info, then again.... maybe she will , she takes after me you know in a talkie, open way. enjoy!

Summer movie fun?
Harkins theaters offers 10 kids movies for the summer, one a week for the low low price of $7.

we've done this every year for the last 5 years. the kids love to have somewhere to go EVERY WEEK. we get soda in our refill cups, and buy popcorn. and we see a movie.We have cousins and Friends go with us too. sometimes we already have the movie on DVD, and sometimes i go thinking this is gonna be a stupid movie, and we end up loving it. So once again we are doing it. AWESOME! although my offer to get tickets for other people has been shot down. looks like according to Sherry, there is a limit of 10 per person this year. in the past I've gotten huge amounts for everyone. but maybe they changed the policy. LAME!

Anyway. if you wanna go get tickets with me. COOL. I'm doing Friday's again this year.
and I'm not buying any of the NEW movies coming out on the list, because in theory it will then be more exciting to see them on the big screen if we haven't watched it a million times. then i'll only buy the ones they love.
