Yo, Yo, Yiggady, Yo!
long day.
story sadly got deleted. you are better off not knowing.( it was rather wordy and i know how it exhausts you to imagine living my life. it exhausts me too.)
and it would leave you in fear of wasting gas. (to get wood for enrichment craft group) that I still don't have enough of yet. CRAP!
fun play dates. thanks for that .(onehm, and maria)
cleaning may happen. (in the vortex-aka the basement, it needs it that's why i call it the vortex)
April break. (a glimpse of the summer)
drama with kids over spending the night. (girls v.s. Boys at Grandma Joann's , WHINING HAS OCCURRED-also shafted on our anniversary date/overnight but that's ok. no money to go out anyway.)
basketball tomorrow. (9 am and 11 and 12- only 2 more weeks after tomorrow!)
OH and i liked JUNO. saw it last night. and i was pleasantly surprised. maybe I would feel different about it, if say, i had teenagers or something. but i don't. yet. and the cussing? yeah it obviously is just my speed. not for the prudes we all know. like i wouldn't have my mom watch it. but i thought it was totally entertaining.
i dug it. tons of quote worthy lines.
AND it was just what i was looking for in a movie. mindless entertainment, that makes me giggle. EXCELLENT!
THUNDERCATS ARE GO!
and i feel i really need a hamburger phone . SUPER COOL
yeah I'm a grown up, but being a teenager with a hamburger phone is ultra appealing right about now. as long as i'm not knocked up. that would SUCK!

My daughter wanted me to buy JUNO for her when I was in California and so being the nice Mother that I am, I did. Now reading your comment about it makes me wonder if I should have. I haven't seen it but she wants me to watch it with her. Hee hee guess I better!!! She loved the movie.
I totally dug that movie. And yes, I feel a little guilty about it. I even watched it twice, which never happens. Once with my husband and once with my sister. My sister said her husband would have walked out. Good thing he wasn't with us! Thanks for the one liners. This movie is bound to be a classic. And- I totally love that she gave the baby up for adoption. Understanding that a 16 is not equipped to raise a baby is a pretty good message. And obviously against abortion. Today I was listening to music from when I was in High School, and I felt like a teenager. And I'm knocked up! This topic is very fitting for me today ...
Haven't seen it yet. Guess I should. Love the hamburger phone - I would love to be a teen again and just sit back and talk on the phone. :)
I loved Juno!! I guess the swearing appealed ot me, too.
What I really liked was the premise that there is another option with adoption and that it can be as open or closed as a person wishes...and in the end they manage to work things out betwen themselves!!
I loved Juno. I am usually pretty prudish but this movie had a lot to offer. First off I do not live in a world where I do not know real life. This was real life. I loved seeing the idiosyncrasies of every character and see them learn to overcome them. The pregnant at her age thing hard to watch but guess what its happening. All that being said, no way I am buying it or letting my children watch it.
Hope you weekend is fab. We are bogged down by saturday sports too!
oh yes i big red puffy heart loved Juno. i saw it 3 times in the theater, because i kept wanting to take another person to see it, i just loved it THAT much!!
Well, I watched JUNO with a 14 year old and then sent my 11 years out of the room the first few seconds.
Chair S.ex is not a good opening.
:) Sausage jogging by.... LOL
I am going to think that everytime I see running shorts.
I'll watch without kids then mail it to you.
You TOTALLY make me LOL. I've had a SH!@ day and for some reason this post made me laugh. I've been questioning Juno. I guess I need to watch it. Have a SUPER weekend.
I saw Juno last weekend and thought it was funny too. Kinda weird but she was cute & had quite an entertaining verbage! haha
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I have heard WONDERFUL things...we were even talking about it at dinner group tonight.
I'm so glad that your girls were able to come play. It was nice to have my own kids occupied!!
;)
I rented Juno from the Red Box like on Wednesday..hehe still havnt watched it yet..its going to cost me like $5 now...Ohwell!!
My daughter doesnt like boys and she said she wont ever like them until she gets married...LOL so I am exempt from all the worries of having a teenage girl..RIGHT????
I haven't seen it yet, but my mom loved it. If either of my daughters get pregnant at 16 yrs old (god forbid!) I don't think I could let her put it up for adoption. It would be her decision ultimately, but I'd do whatever it took for her to keep it. My cousin got pregnant at 15 (yikes!) and kept her baby and now is 17 yrs old and glad she kept him. Her mom helped her alot and my cousin turned out to be a darn good mother. Even at her young age. I would be very sad if my grandchild was put up for adoption. I'd rather help my daughter raise it and keep the family intact.
I loved Juno. Loved it loved it.
Your Vortex comment made me LAUGH. So rad. You are I are the most raddest housekeepers EVER.
♡ I think I'm going to have to watch that!!!
Can't wait to see Juno! I totally forgot about it until your awesome reminder. I'd seen a preview like a million years ago.
I need a hamburger phone too.
I'll tell you why later.
I wonder if they make a hot dog phone?
I thought I was going to hate that show and that it was going to end in a way that made me mad... but when I watched it I loved it so much! ANd I am so happy with how very mature and responsible she was in that movie! Yeah--- QUOTABLE lines. Holy crap I dies laughing the whole time! Too funny!
