So you'd name him WHAT?? Pikachu? and more tales from my manic Monday.

looking for the CONTEST/GIVEAWAY? go here

wanna know what's up with me? I'll tell ya. bear with me it's a long post but full of the funny stuff today.

Pierce and Hope started swim lessons today. they last for 3 days a week for the rest of the month. 2 different time slots. OY, 10:40 and 1 pm.
but i honestly thought they started tomorrow, so i wasn't ready.

i didn't have ...
-swimsuits found
-swim diapers
-cash for the teacher a whopping $216 due today! OUCH!
-batteries for my camera

and i piddled around too long this morning to get to the store in time.

SO i left at 10:15 for Pierce's 10:40 one on one drown proofing class. and was holding out hope that Jennifer had swim diapers at her house like she used to, that people could buy, in case they forgot. so i went, no suit, no swim diaper, no camera batteries. i get there JUST IN TIME for him to go into the water, i asked her, and she said nope she hadn't gotten any swim diapers, to just put him in without one, "it's only ten minutes". and then i realize I'm a winner, and don't have a suit so my baby is "free balling" it in his jean shorts. awesome! then poor kid has never had lessons, NOR has he been in a pool yet this year. and he's bawling. and I'm fine since this is what the other 5 kids did for her, for their lessons. except she has some new guy helping her. heehee. poor guy is looking at me like "help me"! and I'm hanging out waiting for it to be over.

then Jennifer is shocked that Pierce is my baby, and that I'm not pregnant yet. since for everyone this is the hugest shock EVER! I've been getting that comment alot lately. and really it isn't me. it's Lance wanting to hold at 6. I'm ready to get the show on the road if it's happening again. and he's waiting for something. something like a clean house, and a sane wife. we may ONLY ever have 6 kids. since those things aren't happening any time soon.

but i digress. after Pierce's lesson we went to Marshall's to get a swim suit since the one from last year is missing and totally too small anyway. and he rode in the stroller, with just a t-shirt on, and a DIAPER.I'm white trash people! so W.T.!

i get home to the bus sitting at the end of the street. since our street was seal coated today, and our street was blocked. and there is the bus. at 12:15. apparently Lance didn't hear it. so i get her off the bus. and here comes Lance. and there is a LOAD of landscapers in our yard cleaning it up, and hacked down all of our bushes. the green leafy ones. it's BARE. and i start reaming him that he's letting people do our yard? we are broke and have to pay for swim lessons. and on and on. and....his brother sent them. he had them reserved. and needed work for them to do so he's sending them around to all the family to keep them busy. FABULOUS! THANKS SHAWN!
our yard is cleaned up. I've never seen under these bushes before. the weed forest is gone , and a boat load of rocks are cleared out too. maybe i should take some new pictures of the wheel of death. since. it looks so different.

anyway. swim lessons for Hope right after i got her off the bus.with a quickie (shopping trip you perves) at target for swim diapers and batteries. i sent Pierce in with Lance to have a nap, and i took hope back to the swim lessons house. and saw, nieces and nephews. and a blogging sista. and my sister in law that doesn't blog yet but said i can start hers up for her.

i took loads of pictures. like a dork. but so cute to see all these cousins swimming together. i should say learning to swim together.

Hope was nervous and shy with the guy but warmed up. and did her stuff, happily enough.

and i got home just in time to blog a little before the big kids got home.

long day.

and then we flew kites again.

and brought the kites in and we went to Barro's with my fave Brother and his fabulous wife and kids.

then we took our show on the road for all the shoppers at WALMART. yeah spectacle that we are. we saw a friend , as we were leaving, and even to her it's a shock to see all of us shopping together. like white trash DORKS.

and what did we buy? MORE KITES! and kite string. we are kite flying fools!

the discussion on the way home was hilarious though and needs to be documented for me to gigle at later.
the boys in the front row , heard me telling Lance what Jennifer the swim lesson lady said about not being prego yet.

Liberty Chimes up in the back that we need a new baby so i can have another girl.

and the boys response was that we should have another boy baby and his name should be ...
Peyton: Lugia?? (pokemon, rare type) as he's playing pokemon game on the gameboy.
Paxton: No! that doesn't start with a P, how about Pikachu! YEAH PIKACHU!
they start chanting PIKACHU, PIKACHU, PIKACHU, PIKACHU!
and then the girls pipe up in the back NO! how about...
Joy: PICKLE?
the boys chant louder,
joy yells: NO! PICKLE!
and then i chime in what about PUKE?
or POOP!
OR poop stain.
then joy whips out, Pee? (hee hee giggles)
how about person?
PEOPLE?
yeah !
Peyton is thinking Pete is pretty great.
and Paxton is still on Pikachu, but tells the girls they don't get to help pick a name of a boy baby since they are the boys, they get to name it.
and then i set them straight. "I GET TO NAME ALL THE BABIES!'
Lance said," yeah but i get VETO power."
then i think Poseidon is pretty cool for a boy. and say as much.
they stick with the potty words for a while
so i say we should cut to it and name him Potty mouth! yeah since he's sure to be one.
and it ended with Putrid, and Putrescence.

see what happens when someone suggests we might need another kid? or that "it's time?'

we got home and flew the kites in the dark. it was nice and windy. and the kids wanted to use the stuff. Liberty brought out a flashlight. the neighbors, came home and saw us, and said they've never seen anyone fly kites in the dark by flashlight. , and "did you tie a key on there Ben Franklin?"

we flew kites, until?

well.... until i got 2 different ones stuck in two different trees. i am RAD!

Lance rescued them, and we brought them in. flying kites with 3 kids at once while others are begging me to play basketball and play the wii, and while trying to keep the baby out of the dark road, well , it's pretty nerve wracking. seriously.

and Lance went to the movie with the fave brother. to see? IRONMAN.

so i got the kids to bed, LATE. and now I'm doing this. and wondering why no one is blogging lately?

K so I'm super excited this week about BUNKO! with the good group but flipping out a little since it's only a month away until it's my turn. i need to whip up my invites. to pass out tomorrow night.

just another manic Monday at my house.

and NO WE AREN'T PREGNANT! We have 6 and holding. seriously. you'd be the first to know anyway. sheesh.

but Pikachu is cute huh?
maybe for lucky number 7 we'll have a family vote. NAH!

You know what happens when you talk about babies, you end up pregnant. Be careful.

I got lucky getting my three kids in the same time slot (different classes). Otherwise, I would lose some of my sanity.
