i bought myself a purse. what do you think of it?

so? what do you think? it's black. and i ♥ a good black purse. it smells like REALLY yummmy leather. and i bought it with my birthday money from all the people that gave me cash for my Birthday. this is the 1st year i didn't get gift cards, and i have to say i prefer cash!
SO ? is it worth the $129.99 i bought it for? or should i keep looking?
i called and got permission from the hubby before so i wouldn't get in trouble for buying it. since i stick to spending around $40 bucks on purses. but it was my birthday money so he didn't care anyway.
it's not too big and not too small. I'm thinking it's just right.

Now, just from the pics I have to say I don't love it. Maybe it's great in real life, so take it for what it's worth...here's why: I don't love the things hanging off the sides (tassles? what are those?), the way the handles are held on, those rolled side things - not my fave, and the gathered pockets don't turn me on, plus the buckle seems to stand out - I think silver would be better. Black, I like. Big, I like. Lining I like. Smooth side, I like. Now, maybe if I could touch the lovely leather and smell it, I'd think it was awesome too. You decide.
I like a black purse. I like that it has an outside zip pocket. Like you though I tend to look a lot and then buy. I often change my mind and return. Sometimes when I get home I realize I was acting on impulse.
I love Guess Outlet for purses and I think they are online. Go to Guessoutlet.com I have three of them and get compliments all the time. They are not a real pricey brand but they are trendy and cute.

Make sure to look at all options as the way they organize them makes no sense to me. LOL! Usually you can find an online coupon or go in the outlet store and see in person.

hmmmm...not a big fan of a short handle. will it go over your shoulder comfortably if you need your hands? and is it two handles with a little sleeve? it's hard to tell i will go look at the other views.
i like the cute little pocket on the front, is it cell phone size?
ok i like the texture of the leather...super cute and very NOW! i also like the little pockets on the side, great for keys.
i am not sure about the things hanging off the sides? are they to cinch the bag?

$224.98 is a great price for a leather bag that you love. BUT ya gotsta love it...L O V E it!
if i was gonna spend the cheddar i would make sure it had both brown and black leather...so it would go with more.

have you ever heard of bagborroworsteal.com i heard about it at a dinner party about a month or so ago. it is suppose to be a place where you can get a designer bag for CHEAP as a 'rental' and return it for a new one when you get tired of it. 3 of the girls at dinner all had designer bags, and they were gorgeous. i was a little embarrassed when i told them how much i spent on my Gucci bag that i am kind of tired of but don't feel i got enough miles on to replace after spending WAY too much money on it.
ANYWAY i haven't checked out the site. but you reminded me so i might go have a look~see...
It's a nice bag, but I don't love it. It's not my style, I guess. I also don't like the tassel thingies on the side. I like a longer handle too. But if you love it, I would not listen to me, lol!
Hey Julie, I'm not much of a purse girl. I know, I'm weird. I was talked into buying a Gucci bag when we were in Little Itaily in New York. Whatever.
Anyway, I was at the new Costco on Sossaman and the 60 yesterday and they had Coach bags there. I know they were pricy - more than what they cost in Little Itaily - but I'm sure they're the real things. I'm not sure about mine.
Anyway, you purse is cute. If you love it, that's all that matters! I think it's great - but what do I know?!

Well its very cute. I once bought a pricey bag and it got stained but I still loved it!! Wouldnt do it again but its nice to splurge once in awhile. Well I might if we one the Lottery!!

I'm honestly NOT much of a purse person & rarely spend over $20 for one....but I have my things that I will spend a ton of money on and in my opinion....if this is what you want and LOVE it then go for it! It looks like a really nice purse & black is always so wonderful! What a great birthday gift for you...to get what you REALLY wanted!!! :)
Cute, love the lining, I also like the 2 side pockets....great for a quick stash of stuff. But what matters most is if you love it....you are the one carrying it all the time!:) People probably look at my purse and wonder "why?", but oh well!

Girl take the birthday money and splurge! You love it you we can tell. Keep it and adore it! It is very cute. I need a new purse so bad I think it is time to go shopping. ;)
If you like it, it does not matter! I like long handles just because I need it to go around my neck and stay on my shoulder so it will not hit the twins in the head when I go down to pick them up.
If you love love it, then keep it. It's cute. Especially if you'll use it a long time. I justify spending a lot if I'll use it for awhile. $20-30 every season or a couple times a year for a cheap purse that wears out, is not much difference than buying an expensive one you'll use a long time.
