monday musings! A.R.C. (assorted random crap)
- cleaning , not as organized and methodical as is necessary. but doing it. with adult assistance from Lance, i will hopefully be good to go. and maybe some adderall. time to whip out the meds. i need all the help i can get. (i have it, but don't take it since my Dr. thought with long term use and my blood pressure, the risk of stroking out was higher than safe, and yet today getting my ADHD under control is a priority today)
- hmm liberty was late for her 1st day of summer school. i totally spaced that it started today. why did they give us a whole week off before starting? i think it was just to confuse me. she is thrilled to go. her teacher called, and i remembered that second that she started today. she said she could come late. tomorrow we will be on time.
- hot and ready pizza from Little Caesars is the way to go . when i don't have time to cook.
- the comment competition was expected, i have very competitive readers. and yet. i may just take the ranking off. i'll give it a day or two. and REALLY, i'm bummed i am not number one anywhere. LAME!
- the contest/giveaway is going well , apparently there are lots of people with feelings on Preparedness. yay for that.
- i debate whether i want the kids help or just want them out of the way. i'm thinking right now out of the way.
have a fab monday!
i better get back to it.

i always vote for out of the way, lily still makes messes bigger.
I know, sometimes I'd rather have them out of the way. And then other times I'd rather they do it all while I sit on my butt and read. That's why we have kids in the first place, isn't it? I just told Luvpilot and T-dawg that I was tired of them being on the computer all day every day. I mean why did we pay to have that huge hole put in the backyard? So Taylor is doing the dishes, and Luvpilot just went out to do something.
Ok, I'll back off on the comments. Now that I got to first place for just once in my life, I can let it go. Did you see all the comments my little brother left me trying to take over first place? He is freaking hilarious!
Gracie TRIES to be a help, but gosh. She. Is. Not.
Usually. Sigh. I am a no good housekeeping teacher.
I'm still irked about my ranking...:)
Good day!! I was home all day and so therefore think I got nothing really done, but when I look back, heck yah I did. Can't wait for tomorrow night!!
I do have to agree that getting the kids out of the way is the easiest and fastest way to get the house clean. We love Little Ceasar's Hot and Ready Pizza. We have eaten it several times in the past two crazy weeks.
You have a really cute blog! I'm a first time visitor.
Your blog is hilarious!
I love your pink & black :) CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!
(i found yours on matchbox mom's blog)

I am so out of it I did not know a thing about any of your contests until just now. The cave door only swings one way sometimes. I love it when I have Hubby help with chores. Of coarse you are married to a guy who is awesome and always helps, Lucky girl!!!!!
My comment widget didn't work. I'm not sure what I did wrong. hmmmm. Cannot clean with kids in the way. Either I can clean, or I can supervise their cleaning.
wait...what competition? i want in on this!
I just saw your post on emergency prepardness! I was wondering when that store was going to open! I will have to stop by this week!
I usually seem to clean better all alone! No interuptions. When I am on a cleaning frenzy I don't even answer the phone! Have a wonderful time tomorrow! I am sure everything will be perfect! :)
Alright, alright, I admit I've been lurking! I have seen your comments on several other blogs I read and love reading your posts. There, I said it!:)
I just added the top commentor to my blog and guess who is number one...yup you guessed it...YOU!!
Oh and I just linked your give away from my blog.
I always think it's great to get them to clean when you are ready to be in the supervise them cleaning and want to teach them to clean mode. (rare around here) but when I had a dealine and am in stash and dash mode the best result it to stash the kids in a room that won't be seen and get the cleaning done.
I hate cleaning and can usually find a million reasons not to do it. LOL I have a way to justify every thing.
Your days seem to sound a bit familiar! :) Little Ceasar....austin LOVES it & totally the way to go when you don't have lots of time. And kiddos out of the way is so much easier....but I do realize it's important for them to learn....but sometimes, just easier. Hope your days get better & better for the summer!
I like my kids out of the way, but I also think they need to learn how to clean as well...usually I'm cleaning up after them right???? I do both.
I like to be out of the way while my kids clean...much easier..
I love little ceasers.I try to pace myself so the next time I come in they don't greet me by name...Oh the shame of it all!!
What are YOU cleaning it for? Way to go for doing it..seriously...but I say start the token system that Ashley found...and get the kids doing it...and WANTING to do it. IT's awesome!
Sounds like you have your work cut out for you! I do agree that cleaning is more productive WITH OUT little bodies in the way...I hear ya!
Yay for summer...and the kids being home ALL DAY! Does it make me a horrible mother for being less than thrilled??
Hey, I have shared and spread the love! It's up and posted...read all about it!
Wow, it's already Wednesday and no posts from you...did you fall off the face of the earth? Come back...
