we have 2 cats already(they live out front) or we'd be owning one. there is something about a kitten i can't resist.

even if you aren't a cat lover (Lance isn't, in fact the word never was used a few times,but he has come to the light on this ) he can see the wonder of a kitten for little kids.

10 reasons for loving kittens.

1. they love to be held and the more you hold them the nicer they are (in the long run of course.)
   
2. the don't mind if you dress them up-we used to dress them in doll clothes and put them in strollers. (Dogs don't do this, they jump out.and they won't sleep in there. )
3. THEY TELL YOU WHEN THEY LIKE YOU BY PURRING.
4. they come to you when they want attention. and rub up against ya. or climb up your leg.
   
5. they like to sleep.and will sleep on your lap, in the sun , or like i said in a doll stroller. or some crazy people let them sleep in their beds up by their head.
   
6. They don't slobber on you, and they clean themselves often
   
7. they can make the manliest man into a softy (husbands let the cats sleep with them, more often then the wives do!)
   
8. they aren't hyper and their crap isn't huge, or on the grass. all ya need is some dirt . OR a litter box and they take care of it themselves.
   
9. kittens love to play with something as simple as a string, no expensive toys needed
10. Cats will eat Crickets, cockroaches and scorpions. and can keep your yard clear of birds and mice.

and we get around the allergy issue by having outdoor cats, and i just touch my eyes after holding one. i only became allergic since having kids. or really i could have been always, but didn't mind. now they live out front. and i don't really touch them, but the kids give the plenty of LOVE!
