WOW! i like how i don't post all day and my hits are way higher than when i do post!
So the plaid was seen TODAY! at AMAZING JAKES! WHOOHOO!
it was a super fun day! Lance's family all went to celebrate his mom's 60th Birthday!

well maybe 2 on my camera phone. one of all 6 kids on the frog hopper. it was super cute! Pierce even rode it TWICE. and hope and Pierce were big enough to go it alone on the train, and the carousel! WHOOHOO! well when the two of them we together. i did ride the carousel once. which makes me queasy.
not one person made a snide remark about the plaid. and we got tons of looks and pointing/ discussion about the matching. i could tell people thought we are smart. even an employee came up and asked Lance about the shorts, and that he'd seen a bunch of different kids wearing the same plaid. a TEENAGER! noticed the plaid. and remarked it was smart. HA! oh and he did ask if it was a group or a Family. yup a family.
there was only one lost child out of the whole family today. Pierce got away from Lance. umm yeah. NICE. loose the baby why don/'t you. he wandered off for some bowling. alone. some lady had him, waiting for someone to claim him he was throwing balls into her lane. uninvited . heaven forbid! just as i told the front desk to alert security. they found him. thank goodness. but the plaid came in handy then since i could point out what kind of outfit he was wearing. HANDY!
i am so smart. sometimes i even impress myself.
nothing got done at home today. Lance worked all morning even though he was supposed to take the day off. which left me scrambling to get 6 kids outing ready alone. i managed to get them ready, but we were late because i hadn't had time to get myself ready. oh well. it was TONS OF FUN.

i need to find out the printable coupon my sister in law used to get free tokens 25 free, i/'ll find out and share the wealth.

My dh does the SAME DANG THING when he is not working. IT ANNOYS ME TO NO END!!! He even took work calls on Christmas one yr. Grrrr.
I do the matching thing too. You gotta! Or I lose the kids. DH is at Cub Scout Day Camp this week with Joseph. He has 11 Bears. He said it's hard to keep up with them all. So I got him 11 bright colored bandanas to tie around their hats. Now he can spot his 11. :-) We are SMART MAMAS!

You ARE super smart to dress all your kids the same...especially when going to Amazing Jakes. My kids run around there like chickens with their heads cut off...it is hard to keep up with them in that huge place!
You should check into thier group rates. We haven't been in a while, but when would go as a group...we would pay about 8 bucks for a buffet, and then 8 bucks for an unlimted rides band. It was so much more affordable than going through the regular line! You do have to make a reservation for it though.
One thing I truely miss about AZ....the fun stuff you can do there...here, well, we've got nothing! I talked to my kiddos lastnight and they had just gotten back from peter piper pizza...so jealous! :) Glad they are having fun though! I am so glad that your outing went so well & that the matching came in handy...you are a very smart mama!!!

We have not been yet, even though we have a gift certificate that we got for christmas! I would really love to take the kids it sounds like a lot of fun.

We spent WAY TOOOO much money the first time we went there and it makes me leary of going back. Always scary loosing a kid even if it's only for a minute. So smart to have them matching :0)
I have a theory. When you post, we are all reading it on our google reader, so you don't get as many hits. And when you don't post for like a day, we get incredulous, and think something is wrong with our google reader and go to your actual blog to check it out. That is why you get more hits when you don't post. Ya think? Love the plaid shorts outfits, because in addition to matching, they are stylish. And obviously practical;)
so much awesome places to take the kids and fam there...i sure do miss that part of az! however, i'm lovn' the "cooling off in the evening" part of OR right now!

Yay! Sounds like a great day and only one lost kid is impressive. I am sure I would lose more than one and I only have 4. Love the plaid. Glad it made another showing. Too fun!
Ooo, that sounds fun....I wish we had a place like that up here....we have things that are close....but a buffet?! Always love that for the kids!
