i may be the wife of a nerd, but I am so not a puzzler!.

what do you call a person that does puzzles? i have no freaking clue but i am so not that person!

I frankly SUCK! at doing puzzles especially Return of the Jedi , metallic puzzles with 550 Random crap Pieces, in crazy metallic color variations and sizes. i SUCK!

last night i piddled around on the computer, downloaded tons of Free digital scrap booking papers (DSO is having a blog hopping freebie mega kit, in pink and browns by the way). go start out at ANDREA'S blog, she has all the links there. there is a sale also. fyi.

when i got done doing that, it was roughly 1am, and Lance was still working on his puzzle. so i went to sit by him and "help" we QUICKLY figured out i am not a puzzle person. so i sat there giving moral support and sorting color sections ,until 3 am when he finally finished the damn thing and we discovered it was missing 2 pieces , (we bought it used at Bookmans) they could have easily walked away with a kid. some of the pieces went swimming in soda thanks to Pierce so a few leaving the room clutched in the hand of a crazy toddler would be NO SURPRISE!

we went to sleep at roughly 4am. insane! even for me. and i normally reserve my super late night up for thursdays. whatever works though. anyway. 4 am .

i slept in. until 10. awesome! except i had a lunch date with the gals at 11:30. scramble, hustle , and go liike white trash honestly. and i was still 45 minutes late. RAD!

Barro's was CRAZY! the kids wasted a boatload of quarters on the truck and the candy machine, and i had an especially embarassing moment when we heard a HUGE CRASH! and I realized Pierce and Paxton knocked the candy machine over, thankfully it didn't break! and super bonus when a load of candy fell out of the machine. imagine a pinata reaction. kids swarming, and the barro's girl backing away quickly before she got trampled.

i just got home. i have to go clean something. they have been having this obsession with Hot cocoa. Liberty makes it for everyone, since "she makes it the best"and there was some "apple stew" made today too while i was sleeping , as far as i can tell apple stew involved chunks of apples, and water, with fake lemon juice microwaved. they made it but i didn't see anyone eating it. so i have to go take care of that crap sitting in bowls on the counter and table. my favorite thing though is the hot cocoa powder, it's spilled on the benches, and i saw people eating it by the spoonful. it looks like this...

chocolaty delicious!

Hope your Thursday is truly spectacular!

I just love to see that other people have kids that do crazy things like mine. Mine once cleaned the ashes out of the fireplace with a feather duster! Just imagine what the room looked like when the dust settled. rofl It's much funnier now than it was when I was cleaning it up. *giggle*

Very nice. I'm not a puzzle person either. What the heck are the kids doing hot choc for? It's SO dang hot. Silly kids. Love the picture with the choc all over. VERY cute!

Great chocolate face. Thanks for the heads up on the freebie mega kit! Love it and already downloaded it!
I'll probably be pissed if I see someone has a cuter page than me! Just kidding!

♡ I like doing puzzles but I don't like doing them all by my lonesome! 4 am is crazy! I'd be dead tired... :)

Sooooo glad I am not the only one! Micah is awesome at doing puzzles and the boys love to do them with him (the big floor ones for now) but he loves the really really really hard ones too....I however couldn't put a hard one together if my life depended on it! I'd rather read! :)

I suck at doing puzzles!

But I'm so good at staying up late on the computer...usually 2 or 3am...crazy I know, but it's the only time I get for myself...bummer!

I'm still giggling at that Sweeeeet {hot} chocolately face! hahahahaha

Oh my goodness! I was up til 4:30am too!!! Finally went to bed when Ben got up. I was still on the computer when Nathaniel woke up at 3am and wide awake! Arrgh! And I forgot that the toothfairy hadn't come yet. Ashley had a very late night tooth pulling! I had to get him to stay in his room while the toothfairy was visiting the girls' room!

I only got a few hours of sleep too!

Barro's sounds like it was fun & chaotic! Love the pinata incident with the candy machine! haha My kids would've been in there fighting for their candy that had touched the floor too! LOL :)

BTW - thanks for the "plug" for freebie on my blog!

Oh and I found out...the DSO store is having issues! Dang that new server is screwing it up! And the memory box templates may not be up in the store yet. I'm not totally sure. DSO's owner, Bunny, is incredibly busy just trying to keep up with orders and site maintenance. I'll let you know when I find out more.

That chocolate face cracked me up. My kids do stuff like that.

I love puzzles. I'll even sacrifice vacuuming time to get them done.

Can't wait to check out the freebie and digiscrap fun, thanks for the link.

I was up til 3 am this morning.....playing with my dang layout. My sweet kids woke up at 7:45 thanks to the neighbor weed-eating. I am SO feeling it today. My whole head hurts and it feels like my eyes are going to quite possibly fall out of my head. Is 12 noon too early to feed kids dinner and put them to bed?!

I'm not a puzzle person either, most of the time. The last one we did a couple pieces fell on the floor, and the dog ate them before we knew they were down there...nice :)

I need Dr. Pepper......
