Excuse me while i blather on about my weekend.includes pictures! don't miss out!
last week kicked my trash. it was crazy busy with loads of stuff going on, and yet at this point i can't recall what any of it was. all i know is that i couldn't avoid any of it. so i muddled through.
i did decorate for Halloween a little though.
Saturday was Liberty's birthday . she turned 9 .
so until November 19th we have 2 nine year olds.
Friday night the girls got to spend the night with Grandma Joann. for a girls sleep over.
WE picked them up around noon on Saturday. i still hadn't shopped for Liberty's birthday (due to payday, flu, busy-ness) So Liberty decided she'd rather have no surprises and go shopping with me. instead of stay home with Dad while i ran around town getting her b-day loot. before our traditional birthday dinner at Mi Amigo's. (dang it i forgot my camera, and my camera phone was dead-no pictures)
Liberty had only specified she wanted 3 particular webkinz. and new shoes. so we hit a christian store in town here that has a pretty good selection of Webkinz. but it didn't have all the one she wanted. She did find the seal she wanted, and a little kinz bluejay. and we were off to Justice for Girls for more Webkinz. where she found the Dolpin she had been dreaming of. and then Bonus they had a special going that day only. they had certain webkinz for $5.90 with any purchase, no limit. so she bought 2 more with her birthday money from Lance's Dad. and i bought some extra's to have on hand for Birthdays for friends and cousins. then we hit Marshall's and got the CUTEST shoes. i want them for myself. they are totally my style. and she loved them too. she found a Hello Kitty castle playset she had to have so she got that there too. OH and some sterling silver hoop earrings. she likes real Jewelry. none of that kid stuff. which is fine by me. maybe she'll let me borrow them.
we were running late so we met the family and Grandma Jones at Mi AMigos for dinner. then Liberty got to spend the night at Grandma's alone.
i took an evening nap after dinner. and then woke up and did a major grocery shopping trip to walmart at midnight by myself.
Sunday was busy getting lunch ready earlier than normal. and Baking Liberty's giant cupcake.
she wanted to decorate it herself. i made homemade butter cream frosting which was heavenly. and colored it pink and hot pink.
we sang, did the cake thing. and called it good. no wrapping required since she picked it all out herself. and she was more that thrilled to do the cake decorating.
this is what Pierce looked like "helping" decorate the cake .
and stealing frosting.
he'd gotten into the markers just before this.
and decorated himself. it looked like war paint.
Oh!
in other news....
my friend Jessica is Having a FABULOUS boutique this month in Gilbert. info about it here
i'll see if i can get a copy of the invite, it doesn't show up right in my email.
