i was thinking exactly that when she cackled over my powdered sugar post this morning.

then,

while this person was making lunches, he said ," i think you've found your demographic."

makes sense.

she looks just like me,

(she is the one in the middle the other 2 are me)we might as well have the same sense of humor.

everyone thought it was hilarious,

with the exception of who was only concerned that we would really give Pierce away.

~Sunday~

my mom's birthday dinner went great. we had tacos, homemade Pico de guillo and Guacamole.

then we did the deep friend rhodes dough for pretend sopapillas, scones, fry bread with honey, and POWDERED SUGAR.

yeah that is why we had the sugar escapades last night.

then we had Marie Callendars pie. it's cheap pie month . until the last day of February.

$6.99 for a whole pie+tin.

my brother and his fam came over to track down mom, so we even had fun company last night.

~Saturday~

i had a baby shower that i was late to. then we went shopping, just for fun, not really buying anything in particular. it was a good time.

then i came home, hung out for awhile, then Lance and I went out. HOT DATE! we hit bookmans(it's a new and used bookstore here) again (every two weeks almost) and then went and saw INKHEART. it was pretty good. we were previewing it for Peyton to see if it was appropriate for him. and it was Scary for me. so we won't be taking him(he's sensetive and freaked out over the last Harry potter in the theater) we aren't buying it either for a few years. can't have movies that would freak out the kids here. and Joy would totally be into it and FREAK OUT!

there was lots of conflict with holding parents and kids hostage by the bad characters. no one needs that kind of stress. UGH.

anyway it was well done. and Lance thought it was actually better than the book. which is a first i think.

1 last thing. i had a message on my house phone that Liberty's thyroid ultrasound came back as normal. which is what we wanted to make sure of! AWESOME! i'll get the test results/reports. and squirrel them away with the rest of our medical paperwork.

and i knew i'd find a use for the pictures where Pierce wasn't cooperating. thanks ONEHM. it was perf!
