impractical fantasy or not, it's been fulfilled! yay me!

dang it! i posted about an exciting new thing at my house. and Lance thought it was stupid that i was posting about it. since I'm more often than not anxious about our budget.

(so i took that post down.)

Just so you know, we only pay cash for things. and if we don't have it, we don't get it.

so getting something big and new never happens to us. and having a chunk of cash at once is super rare.

and spending a chunk of change on one big thing is even more rare. we more often wheedle it away on little piddly crap.

we finally got a Flat screen TV. we've only ever had hand me down TV's .

well Lance the rich bachelor had a GIANT 60" big screen when we were dating but we sold it right after we got married.

and our New exciting flat screen is in MY casual DINING ROOM! i'm so excited, it's wall mounted. and oh so handy for kids snacking or me crafting. no more stinky kids sneaking snacks downstairs. and i might actually be a TV watcher from now on. yay me!

so yeah. i whine about funds OFTEN. but today we splurged. and i'm excited about it.

it's a freaking fantasy that got fulfilled after 2 years of dreaming of it, so i'm posting about it DANG IT!
