oh the indignity of it all....
Today i was reminded of the indignity of motherhood,
as i rushed upstairs to go to the bathroom. i catch Pierce , he again was hanging around nude. so i asked him if he wanted to potty , he said yes, so we rushed upstairs together , i set him on the throne, and the kid sits. thinks, sits. NOTHING.
meanwhile I'm dancing, (since I'd waited far too long as it is because i was engrossed in HTML code and didn't want to lose my place. ) at that point, it's too late to run to the other bathroom.
so i re learned an important lesson. (this lesson is easily forgotten by me, apparently i need reminded of it) because as Joy(my 6 year old) used to tell people,'i have a weak bladder'.
LESSON LEARNED? if i have to go, i get to go first. NO MATTER WHAT!
i can't be dancing around waiting for an inexperienced kid to figure out how to take a leak. when i need to take one too.
on the bright side, the floor got mopped.
I spent the morning downloading and installing new fancy fonts.
went to lunch with Lance to Costa Vida which was delightful. i super love the mango salsa on the sweet pork salad, instead of dressing. HEAVENLY DAY DELIGHTFUL!
this afternoon, i used these instructions. to revamp my post title. side bar titles, and date.

by the way, Pierce's streaking habits have lessened today. I've found that positive praise for just keeping something on, keeps him dressed!
it sounds like this, "HEY !you still have your diaper on! YAY!" give a high five!
and he's off thrilled to be noticed. and not for being naughty.
he has been going potty too. in the toilet with minimal assistance.
i have a pack of late potty trainers. if this kid wants to do it now on his own , GREAT!
but i'm first in line.

Loving the new fonts too! Hopefully Pierce will be done potty training soon. Sounds like he is ready!
I've been trying to change my font, but my lack of food makes it hard for my brain to even look at HTML code. I'll have to try again when I can actually understand what I'm reading.
