My bus riding, eyeball eating, glow in the dark kid.

Pierce (my 3 year old ) used to be the star of this blog, i realized it's been awhile. since he's been full of it . you get to hear all about him. i know. you are thrilled. and i posted his school picture.

WhoohoO! relief!

today this kid happily got on the bus.

no screaming fit,

no wrestling him into his harness or seat belt,

and no wrangling him. and best part, no screaming all the way to school.

HALLELUJAH! heavenly day! WHEW!

the daily fight was exhausting .

~~

Last night Pierce got into the Halloween glow sticks i bought for the kids. he opened all of them, then cracked a few. there goes his glow in the dark devil pitchfork.

after he enjoyed it for a little bit, he bent it in half until it started leaking. So i took it away and put it in the trash. left the room. and forgot about it. Pierce did not.

this is his back and arm. glowing in the dark. he somehow dumped it all over himself.

He ruined his outfit, and needed a speedy bath.

FREAKING AWESOME!

~~

AND i mentioned i decorated for Halloween?well i got my standard chocolate eyeballs. to fill my apothecary jars.

(candy corn, glitter skulls, and chocolate eyeballs)

Pierce can't stay out of the chocolate eyeballs.

everyone else knows the Halloween decorative candy can't be consumed until i take down the holiday decorations. Pierce does not respect the decorative candy.

yesterday i told him that candy was a decoration.

he emphatically replied," NOT DECORATION, CHOCOLATE! it's CHOCOLATE MOM"

like he seriously can't waste good chocolate on my decorative use. now everyone wants some. ugh. looks like I'll have to go buy a bunch more if i want my jars full. he's been eating the candy corn too, but he prefers the chocolate.

well i'm off to school. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Holiday candy! is it decorative or for general consumption?

glow in the dark items? do you use them for Halloween and just for fun? (we've been known to take them to the park and drive in to spot them after dark and just for fun)

it's almost the weekend. How do you feel about weekends? love 'em or hate 'em?

chocolate? decorative? NOT IN MY HOUSE! lol i don't think i could handle that temptation.
you didn't toss the glowing outfit did you? you might be able to get the stains out with dishsoap. it is an oil based stain.
we love glow in the dark items. we used to stock up on them for the dunes (much easier to spot kids in the trailer circle, and if you color code you know which kids are yours) we get them randomly also. they always try to put dead ones in the freezer thinking that will revive them lol.
i live for the weekend and they sure as heck aren't long enough!

I love love love your apothecary jars..they look fabulous!
Your little guy sounds exactly like mine...it must be the "youngest syndrome"
Glow in the dark is cool, I like black lights more I think...which reminds me I still need to put up my black lights.
I usually like the weekends...don't love fridays because it is my "single parent" day but I do love saturdays!

Decorative chocolate would never last in my house. If the boys didn't eat it, I definitely would!
Love Friday nights...date night.

And that he doesn't respect the decorative candy...my youngest doesn't do much of that, either...
