so this is my Monday?
Mondays! they aren't for the faint of heart.
ya know when they start off all wrong.
- you'd been woken up more than a few times in the middle of the night.
- you wake up with a kids foot jamming into your side. (when did he sneak into my bed?)
- the alarm goes off for 30 minutes while you dream about an alarm going off.
- then a business call wakes up the hubs and you are left getting everyone ready alone.
- the sprinklers turn on and one is shooting straight up into the air,
- the new grass seed is being feasted upon by every bird in the area,
- one kid refused to go to school today saying he never has any fun there. he wants to be home schooled. (which is SO NOT HAPPENING!) so much for happy first day back after Oct.break. he's grounded from all screens for 3 days. and another day for each chore he turns down today.
- the maid showed up , before 9 and i wasn't dressed yet (gearing up to go shower), sitting at the computer. (yeah, i was just in my skivvies which are pretty modest as far as coverage goes, but not flattering in the least) OY! i made a beeline for the hubs office so he could grab some clothes for me and go out and talk to her.now there are noxious fumes coming from the basement bathroom where she is cleaning.
i guess Monday is not all bad. maybe my house will be back to clean again after her visit. (i hope) an hour with all the kids home trashes it, imagine a whole week of them home? GAH!
so i guess clean bathrooms and mopped floors are something to celebrate.
it's early release all week . and i have conferences for 5 kids in a row this afternoon. RAD.
as always my agenda involves laundry folding and sorting and assorted other endless chores.

sounds like you have a case of the mondays =(. lol.
i had a slow start today. the babies came at 8:30 instead of 6:30. i had all these plans to get stuff done around the house before they came. that went out the window. i did get in a walk around the block after i took the girls to the bus stop, i am going to work up to 2 miles again. enjoy your clean house while the kids are gone! 5 conferences in a row! have fun with that, i guess i should be thankful i only have 3 on wednesday.
wow. what a day already, huh? well, i've just spent the last half hour catching up on your blog (i've been out of town). love the spotting post. what a fun game (if i lived there). i love costa vida / cafe rio too! my fave!! as for my monday... i have to wear a 70 pound tile dress on a runway on thursday night. found out this morning that the dress is ruined and has to be remade. how about that for some good news. i will blog this.
btw, i want to know who your crush was from back in the day (the one you saw at costco).

Thanks for coming on over to my blog! I hate mondays! Why is it that things that don't normally happen on a "regular tuesday" happen on monday!???
So far though I have managed to have a regular morning...no huge spills, no pee pee accidents...knock on wood.
Early release for us too, dang these kids have it easy!
My 2 little ones have been high maintenance all day and our house looks like we threw a party while our parents were away...LOL! But the teen won't be home today until it is time to shower and go to bed...hallelujah! She gave me the stinkeye all weekend...it was exhausting.
My Monday started way too early with the still fevering 3 yr old coming in wanting water. Not sure what's wrong with the one next to her bed...
Got two of the kids off to school. One of them remains home with me until he's past the mandatory 24 hour fever free zone. Not to mention they would not appreciate his nasty cough at school!
We had a great Fall break. Four out of six of us sick. The house is a sty, and my maid (me) hasn't shown up yet today to scrub the bathrooms! ;) Yep, it's Monday!
I almost forgot to make Taylor a lunch. Totally forgot that since switching schools, he now takes his lunch. And then I could not remember what time he was supposed to catch the bus. Not totally my fault since the time has changed 3 times since he started going there, but could not remember. Am I that old?
But, having the house empty again has been nice. Beds made early, Walmart run done early, floors mopped, laundry started, and trying to catch up on blogs.
My Monday is a lot better now that i have my diet soda.
I was jolted awake by my dog coming into my bedroom. He is a very large, naughty puppy. As soon as I heard him, I jumped up to protect whatever he was after. My helpful 4 year old let him in and so I sent him outside until I was awake enough to deal with him. Its still fall break here in my world and I can't wait to send them off to school tomorrow. Other than that, its been a pretty good Monday.
Look on the bright side, at least you have a maid! All I have is a lazy self who didn't even get the chores done that I was suppose to... oh well
I had a sh*t monday, too. Urgh.
Clean bathrooms & mopped floors are SO celebration-worthy.
So not a fan of Mondays. Yesterday Olivia woke up with another tummy ache so I took her to the dr. Then was sent to the hospital for blood work and xrays. then we had a chiropractor appt. Then the kids got home from school and we had occupational therapy (at dinner time no less!) then had to go get some sweats as it turned cold for 3 days here. I feel in bed exhausted at 8 with the kids.
I am thinking about hiring a cleaning lady twice a month. Bathrooms and floors. While Michael is traveling for these 6 months. I cannot keep up with everything. and then I feel like a failure because my 8 and 10 yr old should be doing these chores. But it just is too much for me to keep on them right now!
Mondays are a drab now, that, sadly, OB is over!!! Wahhh!!!!!!! I am overly excited that coming up is Halloween, not so sure:(! Maybe i'm getting a lil' to OLD!!! HAHA, remember that one!

i never have clothes on..that is why people have to wait at the door for so long...
i seriously need a maid! i mopped my floor yesterday and now it is dirty again. i am pissed!
