Survey Says?
OK. sooo, it's been awhile since I've had much blogger interaction with my 'friends' (real and imaginary) , readers, other bloggers, etc.
So I'm asking you people the questions....that I'm dying to know the answers to.
~ What is your favorite thanksgiving food?
~Which is your Favorite black Friday store to hit first?
if you aren't a fan of black friday how about your ...
~Favorite shopping website?
~Do you decorate before or after Thanksgiving?
~What is your Christmas color scheme?
give me your answers, and I'll divulge mine later after school. or tomorrow. or tonight or something.
today I'm thankful for ...a hubs with a steady pay check. we all know what a blessing that is in this economy.
FYI this website has 4 for $10 antibacterial hand soaps on special. (including holiday flavors). plus cheap wallflowers, and $5 candles.
they make great teacher or neighbor gifts.
and i posted the blackfriday link to the target ad in Yesterday's post.

rolls and potatoes totally tie.
not a fan of crazy crowds. web shopping is so random for me.
the day after usually.
mix and match but mostly rustic type colors i guess, if that makes sense. darker colors. i love my SIL bright pink, blue and purple decorated tree but i can't buy everything new so i just keep adding to what i have.
My mom's cornbread stuffing!
Walmart
After Thanksgiving
Red and Green
Favorite Thanksgiving food is the stuffing! I could just eat that and be totally happy!
I hit whatever store gets voted on as the first store! Usually Wal-mart. I decorate AFTER Thanksgiving. I tell my kids you have to be Thankful FIRST before you can start asking for things!
I do NOT have a Christmas color scheme. Someday I will......
Stuffing and rolls are my favorite thanksgiving food.
I don't usually go shopping on black Friday but if I do it's usually JoAnn's fabric.
I don't shop on-line
We decorate put up our Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving.
Rustic blue, red and white.
love your interactive blog posts...
Favorite Thanksgiving food: stuffing, potatoes, home made rolls, pumpkin pie!
Favorite blk fri store: Toysrus or Target
Decorate BEFORE! It is way more festive that way!
Color scheme: it was blue and silver but over the past couple years red and gold have found their way in!
I completely love turkey. It think it's cuz we only eat it thanksgiving and christmas.
Would you think less of me if I said that I have never been shopping on black friday?
I too love me some outlet shopping. There is one in El Paso that's awesome.
I have always decorated after thanksgiving, normally around the first week of december. We used to get a tree around week 2, and then decorate it then.
I'm a classic girl when it comes to colors. Red, Gold and Green for me!
Ok, I win Queen Lame-o.
Favorite food on Thanksgiving-rolls
Shop? no
Website? I don't buy because I am too cheap, but I like ShapeFX.
Yeah, wow, that is about it.
Favorite food--Pumpkin pie with REAL whipped cream.
Don't shop on Black Friday, but I do hit the stores the day after Christmas.
I decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm a bit peeved that I have a neighbor with her Christmas lights up already! The department stores may get an early start, but that doesn't mean we all have to!
I don't have a color scheme--I go for the homemade ornament look. But I have to say, white lights are a must on the Christmas tree--the colored ones look like candy to me.
Howdy Ho
My favorite Thankgiving thing is the pies! I forced myself to not have any last year and about died from deprivation!
I am so not a Black Friday girl, I wish I was, but my naughty child prevents this, and the few times I mistakenly went; there were no carts so I had to carry my 65 pound child and he thru a huge tantrum, but dang it all I wanted the dirt cheap portable DVD player! Really is it too much to ask~apparently it was!
I actually have a specific Christmas theme each year, my wrap and everything is that theme-like one year is snowmen, another is gingerbread! Don't even think of buying me wrap, my mom did one year the humungo roll from Costco, and I wanted to cry! I actually ungraciously gave it back, and said uh no thanks I have a scheme going, and this aint it!
I love the ads on Thanksgiving, but my husband was a newspaper carrier and so I feel bad for how big the paper is, sometimes he would leave the night before Thanksgiving at 8pm and get in line and not return home until 8am!
By the way, I do not like pumpkin pie!
Just thought I would share.
Chow.
I totally decorate before thanksgiving. It all rolls into one big holiday for me--a 2 month long party and blessings-fest.
I was JUST thinking about you today as I was mulling over whether or not to brave black friday. I wish i could just go with you! You could show me the ropes. Because as I learned from my crazymama, there is a technique to black friday. It is an art form.
Ta!
so i have been out of town... just catching up on all the posts. wanted to play along, so here goes.
favorite thanksgiving food: rolls with homemade strawberry jam and pie. pumpkin, apple, banana cream. mmm. can't wait.
black friday: i stay away from all the stores on that day. perhaps it's because i loathe crowds. but if i've been wrastled into going, i can definitely hold my own in the elbow throwing arena.
fave shopping website. hmm. since i don't shop for gifts online, only for me, i'd have to say overstock.com and jcrew.
i don't decorate. i know. it's just that i don't have anyone to decorate for (besides me) and what goes up, has to come down. i couldn't be bothered. it would be after thanksgiving if i did it.
color scheme. when i have one, it will be apple green, white, and silver.
