oh gay! ok this is the scoop of the day! Liberty is home today from school with a sore throat. Lance has obvious signs of strep and so kindly shared his beverage with the offspring last evening! WTH? seriously? so now i have a kid home sick and what are my obligations to her class party if she is home from school? and she will miss the costume parade! not fabulous!
and I just heard "previously on Grey's anatomy" my response to that? Liberty you aren't allowed to watch that!
now i am hearing Arthur start ...

maybe i should go watch too. it has been a long time since i have sat down with my fave aardvark friend. i can tell i haven't seen this episode! TiVo always has a few saved on it. yay for TiVo! but I digress.
back to the topic at hand...
and what would you do with a sick kid? she is going to the Dr. at 11:30. and i called the room mom already to let her know not to plan on me tomorrow for sure, just in case it is strep-. ans she told me to call her if it is nothing. and LANCE! oy vey! killing me. actually he is working. but for real? you have the flu over the weekend and you share your beverage Monday night? NO! you tell the kids to drink some water! and now if we have an epidemic in our house who gets to go to the dr? ME ! and who gets to keep sick kids home from school? me! argh! i hope this doesn't become a widespread issue in the house! i will be bent! and Strep is not a good time i tell you. maybe i should make myself a Dr. appointment.my throat is feeling a little hot, and sore. could it be the DR. pepper?
top ten coming later today. i know you are dying to receive the wonder of my uuber-deep thoughts. dude! and i googled uuber, since it is uuber-cool it is a real word i swear see it here!

Darn! I hope that Libery gets to feeling better soon, and I hope the others don't get it. My kids for some odd reason have never had strep. I don't think Steve, or I have either. It must not run in this family. Many other germies do though. :) Good luck at the Dr.'s appointment.
That sucks! I am sooo glad that Jeff is a total germ freak, he never chances sharing with anyone. I hope she isn't getting strep, that would suck to be sick on Halloween!
I sense your frustration...Hadley is getting over her cold crap and ear infection...which makes life a lItTlE easier...but now is the season for the germies that the kiddo's bring home from school! Yay...fUn times...

I hate it when my kids are sick! Preston sounds like he's getting what I had which I think was bronchitis! Not fun! It's even more frustrating when a parent who should be smart enough not to share goes ahead and shares with the kids and spreads the germs! I'm sure it's just such a habit to be a nice sharing dad.
I hate sick kiddos too. Ben was getting sore throat last week, so he takes herbal flu drops & elderberry drops. It definitely helped. Felicia had kinda sore throat yeterday, but I just had her take lozenges. She seemed fine after school & no sore throat today. i think it's just cuz they stayed up late over weekend & were a little tired. Oh well, i'm just glad they're feeling fine.
