Saturday's scoop!

Ok today is Liberty's Big day her baptism day! yay! the day she baptized a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. yeah, we are mormon, for those that didn't know. also known as LDS. yeah we are! So today is her big day. and i have stressed about this for weeks. I've posted about my drama with it i am sure and today it is over! yay! and here i am wondering why i stressed.

i almost decided we weren't doing the after party. yesterday i asked her if she would be scarred for life if we didn't. she said she wanted a party. so i asked her where she wanted it? and gave 3 options

1. our house-major overhaul would have to take place last night to be party clean, and the painting i had planned on weeks ago, yeah i was letting that go without. nobody but family was coming anyway. but it was still possible if she wanted.
   
2. Grandma Jones' new condo is always clean and we could have done it there. she said so and it was the plan all week.
   
3. the Park. show up, play and eat and leave.
   

Liberty picked the park! so the kids are wearing casual Sunday clothes. denim skirts instead of fancy dresses, and Liberty will have to change after pictures. then what did she want to eat?
she picked cake. a giant costco cake. white with butter cream frosting. Yummy! and it has white flowers and a heart on it. we almost picked a flag one. which was totally suitable too. but went with the white. we aren't having dinner. just cake. and lemonade. her choice too. yummy! well not together, but i didn't pick it, she did. and some costco cookies too. in case kids don't want cake. I love costco!

so i stressed for weeks, for no reason , all i had to do was let her pick where, and what to eat.
it is her day i should have let her pick weeks ago, and i would have been less stressed. or at least known what i was doing for it. yup! she knows what she likes, and it doesn't reflect poorly on me the combo or location because she picked it. pretty fab!

I'll take some pics! i am semi concerned about the whole i have to help her change fast afterward. and fix hair. just because, last time we had a baptism, it was Peyton, and he was a Boy and Lance did it. not me. ok so fabulous! gotta go give showers to 6 kids and myself, good thing this is an afternoon affair!
