I'm going with #2. It could be #3, but I know I've gone cleaning and found dirty diapers that were months old that had meant to be tossed into the garbage, but got pushed under my bed instead...ew gross, I know. But I don't claim to be a clean freak, so there! Can't wait to read the answer.
