Memory Lane monday -3 truths and a lie -christmas gifts i have asked for
ok there really is a lie here. so go for it. make a guess at the lie, and leave a comment. 3Christmas gifts i really asked for sometime in my 30 years , and a made up lie gift . which one do you think it is?
1. unlimited tanning for a month.
2. an ironing board and iron.
3. a porcelin doll, called gumdrop
4. a Hope chest

My guess is the hopechest. The sad thing is that I did ask for one when I got home from my mission. I didn't even want to get married or anything. I just wanted a hope chest because I never got one when I graduated and everyone else in my family did. I guess I felt left out. The tacos sound yummy. I think they are my favorite too. Especially with homemade salsa.
i'm going for the tanning. you live in arizona. i'm figuring you get a tan just by walking out the door.

I'm guessing the ironing board, because I just would hope you wouldn't ask for that because I hate when "Mom" of the house hold gets house hold items. Like dishes, or ironing board, or toaster. Those are family gifts not mom gifts. So I HOPE the ironing board is the lie!
It has to be the ironing board. No one would ASK to iron!
I'm guessing the hope chest. Not sure why.
Incidentally, I would ask for an ironing board and iron if it would make anything in my life easier.

I know you do NOT like ironing (just like me) so I'm guessing the IRON and BOARD are a LIE! If that's not the lie, then WOW you really asked for one? tee hee :)
You are so busted if you really DID ask for an iron & ironing board. No woman should have to wasted a gift on a work implement. I'm guessing that's your lie.

I am guessing the iron and ironing board. Though I do sometimes ask for things like bread machine, Kitchen Aid mixer for gifts, I would NEVER ask for an iron, even IF I needed it!

i just wanted to say that the painting your mom did of your kids is AWESOME! How fun is that?! I would love to have a painting of my kids, but instead, I cheat. I just photoshopped one of my favorite pictures to look like a painting!
Ok...I'll guess. The ironing board. I really hope that is the lie, cuase that is just not a very fun gift to ask for!
