Christmas vacation coming to an end.

I have been the nicest mom ever during this Christmas vacation. and i have had the luckiest kids ever .
I'll list why...

  1. girls sleepover at grandma Jones for sunday
  2. Play date with Maria's boys
  3. 4 kids sleep over on christmas night at Grandma JoAnn's
  4. Joy sleep over with grandma Jones. dinner at A2's house
  5. trade kids, boys went to Aaron's house, we kept Mckenna for a girls party in the basement.
  6. glitter glue galaxy fun
  7. keep my sister Maria's kids one day while Will has surgery
  8. sleep over at grandma Jones for the 3 girls for Sunday.
  9. little Maria spends the night while Peyton and Paxton go to her house(trade kids)
  10. play date with Will all day.
  11. Joy, Liberty and Hope spend the night at grandma Jones.
    on new years.
  12. guitar hero party with the big boys with mom and dad. for new years.
  13. Barro's with Maria's fam. and swapped kids yet again. we keep Nate , and send Hope and Peyton to their house. A2ed came to barro's to visit too.
  14. tomorrow we are going to trade back the kids and play at Maria's house for a little while. it will be grand. especially since dad is working tomorrow.
tomorrow is the last day of vacation. and i am actually sad. i know! that has never happened before.

so yeah I'm getting all the laundry washed, and getting the kids crap ready for back to school. i got some sorter things for their clothes for the week. I'll put an outfit in each spot and they can dress themselves. it's a new thing . hope it works. the hardest part will be sorting out all the outfits and putting them in the bins. I cleared out the laundry room of clean clothes. whoohoo! and started the process. i have until tomorrow night to implement it for the 5 school kids. it should make mornings a breeze. i can hope right? right. and in the process i purged all the holy jeans. and the clothes i came across that were too small and ready to be passed down. or passed along to cousins. yup! so starting the new year out right. with some productive activities , and a little fun. and i even went to old navy today and didn't buy anything! shocking . i had an armful but the line was too long, and it gave me just enough time to decide that i didn't need to buy anything. I like to think it was their loss for having a line. the 50 % off sale was still going strong. check it out online. they had fab winter jackets for kids for 15 bucks! amazing! too bad I'm cheap and it isn't that cold here. but i did return a wallet i didn't like and bought a scarf for next years trip to Portland, it was black and way cute. thinking ahead always pays off.

My kids have had lots of sleepovers too (well Nathaniel did anyway)! I'm tired of sleepovers for now. Tonight is Nathaniel's last one for a little while.

Good for you for starting the new year off in an organized fashion! I need to jump on your band wagon and get busy! Thanks for the heads up on the old navy sale. Love that store for the kiddos!
