52. blessing project # 6 -LANCE'S Mom - my mother in law.
ok well. in the past 2 days i have mentioned My mother in law JoAnn . as his mom. meaning Lance's mom. yeah she is a blessing in our life . over and over she has shown us unconditional love and support in our lives. She has occasionally doubted some things we have chosen for ourselves. and we have learned the hard way once or twice. but she has always loved us whether we do what she says or not.
she had helped us in innumerable ways.
but i'll list a few anyway.
♥ watching the kids. so we can go on dates.
♥keeping the kids when i have a baby so my mom can come be in the delivery room with me.
♥babysitting for our ten year anniversary when we went to Vegas and giving us money on our way out the door she paid for our tickets to Mama Mia.
♥letting Lance and the kids come stay at her house when i was radioactive.
♥ she's always giving advise.
♥she will come help us move, or clean anytime i let her.
♥she has tons of energy. and almost never sits down to relax
♥she has spend the nights with all the grandkids and caters to their every whim.
♥she is always giving service
♥she is a great example and magnifies her church callings
♥she is generous.
♥she helped us get into our house
♥she insisted we buy the swing set for the kids instead of pay her back all we could
she is an amazing woman and a great example to all of us.
we love her and appreciate all she does for us.

How precious that she can be so close!
That is a HUGE blessing!
I love my mother in law too, and I agree, it's a true blessing.
I hope she reads this. Or that someone at least e-mails it to her. She should know how great she is!!
How funny, I chose my in-laws as this week's blessing too! It is a wonderful blessing to have great in-laws! :)
That is fabulous that you can count her as a blessing. She has done a lot for you from the looks of it. And to insist you buy the swing for your kids instead of paying her all back right now. She truly loves her grandkids!
What a huge blessing! Your Mother in law sounds so kind. I am loving the new swing set!!! It is the perfect time of the year to play outside too. :)
Julie, you are right....She is an incredible woman! I'm glad she has helped you guys so much, and that is so neat about the swingset. I know your kids will enjoy it!
Having good inlaws really is a great blessing!
Wow, will she adopt me? Such a blessing!!
I'm glad to see this post! She is an amazing woman and I'm thrilled she insisted on the swingset! That was extra sweet!!
She really does sound great! Lucky girl, to have a wonderful MIL!
some good posts here - love nice MILs and yours sounds awesome and NO WAY and NO FAIR about the swing set!!! my kids always look with longing at that thing when we walk into costco.
(rude ass-face people that live in this world too but glad you didn't have to hear her personally - and lance dealt with it) happy day for the kids though
Really great mother-in-laws are a HUGE blessing! I have been blessed twice with that and couldn't be more thankful! This is a great blessing....she really cares more about her grandkids and family than herself....that is a wonderful woman!

She sounds like a wonderful lady! And I love the swingset, I've been eyeing it myself. I will come play!
that is such a touching post! i, too, have a wonderful relationship with my MIL.
WHAT would we do without great womwn like your MIL inour lives? What a blessing for you and your family:)
She does sound amazing! Lucky!! What an incredible blessing!!
What an AWESOME blessing she is. Can I have her as my MIL?
Well, That's a big deal I would say. Because not all mother-in-laws are a blessing (not that mine isn't...she's wonderful). So, good for your mother in law. She sounds like a gem!
you are one of the lucky ones (like me!) that have great mother-in-laws.
and i LOVE the swing set!! what time shall we come over to play?!
It's always a joy when the in-laws are NOT a pain! I got lucky too.
I liked my ex-in laws better than my own parents. During the divorce I told the ex I was keeping her family! :) Turns out her family liked me better as well! :)
It is wonderful to hear about great in-laws. It is indeed a blessing!!! It's sad when in-laws get such a bad rap!!
She sounds great!! I need to get one of those. lol. hugs-
Great blessing! I am fortunate enough to really get along with my MIL too, and so I know how great they can be ;)! And LOVE (ok coveting) the new playground equipment, Corbin and Gav my just happen to end up on your doorstep from time to time!
your mil rocks!! you are so lucky that she helps!! that is huge!
How wonderful to have such a kind MIL. It is great that she is so generous.
That's wonderful that she is so supportive and a blessing to your lives! May all MIL's be as wonderful as her!!
What a great post. Has she read it? She needs to read it. e-mail her a link Ü
I'm also commenting on the prev. post about planning ahead for something morbid. I highly recommend it. My dad's was planned and my mom's wasn't. We got to mourn for my dad and we didn't for my mom becasue we were so mad at her for leaving us with so much to figure out and go through and sell and yada yada yada. So yes, PLAN, PLAN, PLAN!!! That way when you get to the other side the 1st things out of your mouth when you see said person is what the @#$%!!!!!
very nice post! you're both a good example for all of us!
