the terror! you can see it in his eyes...

crying from the moment he gets in the pool

he cried for the kickboard,

and for floating on his back
and while he is Monkey walking all the way until it's over. and still crying for effect. it's ten minutes. one on one. drown proofing.

Jennifer noted that he at least cries quieter than some of the others did. one kid was especially shrill, i think it was Joy, she thought it was too. AH Joy, legendary as always. or maybe just memorable. whatever, i bet Pierce appreciates knowing he isn't the worst out of all of his siblings.

~~

here are Hope and Aiden getting in for the first time this season. he just turned 5 and then there are 5 almost 4 year olds. Hope is the oldest of the cousins the same age. she'll turn 4 in July. 2 weeks later the twins, and then Maria Hannah, and then Porter.

Maria is in blue polka dots, and hope is in Red gingham with a pink hair bow.

Hope with Mark the teacher boy, that looks pretty scared when the kids scream in his face. but Hope was ok the 2nd day.

here they are all lined up Maria, Aiden, Porter, and Hope, the twins missed the first day.

here they are the second day, or was this today? Colin and Carter, and i totally don't see them enough that i can tell which is which, i'm a crappy aunt sometimes.
so there we are SUPER FUN swim lesson pictures.

LAST NIGHT i had an awesome time at BUNKO, thanks PAIGE.

DON"T MISS OUT ON THE GIVEAWAY! HERE

and then there is the load of fun going on here. i have to go be productive. i think mopping is in order. UGH. and i still need to tackle bedrooms, and the dressing room, still isn't organized. SOMEONE isn't pleased and unfortunately i sleep with him so i better get on it. and junk mail should just be put directly into the trash. seriously! it isn't worth the one coupon to have it around. some freaking kid, opened it and had a ticker tape parade with the coupons. where was her mother? sheesh!

i still need summer fun ideas too so go here and give me some. think cheap , free creative fun stuff. what fun things did you do as a kid? share that too maybe.

For swim lessons, I think they're keeping Carter in blue and Colin in orange. That last picture is GREAT!

I tear the one or two coupons out right away that I'll actually use, and throw all the other junk mail immediately away. Can't stand that on my cupboards!

Poor Pierce! At least the others are having fun.

SO SO SO sad that I missed bunko. I'm not sure I can wait a whole month!!! We may have to arrange a lunch date or something....

Don't we LOVE the swim lessons? That's true and sarcastic at the same time! We have to have them here in AZ where pools are everywhere and I'm all about being real with the conquering the fear but your heart does go out to those little ones and their fears! One of my biggest is drowning too. AAAAHHHH!!!!! Air! I need AIR!

Love the pictures. I want to go swimming. It is still kinda cold here. And this really made me want to do the swim lessons thing. I haven't done them for years because you have to be there way early in the morning on the 1st of sign ups to get a spot and I never get there. So my poor kids have learned hard knocks. Wich means they can basically doggy paddle. hum... but at least they do love the water for the most part.
