hop like a frog why don'tcha! my Photo story Friday.

Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

I have reached my limit. the refill movie cups. seen here, there are 6 total went to the movies today with us. summer movie fun,T.M.A.S.E.O.E. (aka torture mom and sap every ounce of energy)
i lugged my 6 kids and one nephew who slept over last night so we could go to the midnight showing of "Don't mess with the Zohan"(review later I'm telling a story here) SO anyway. me and 7 kids. so excited to go to TMNT leaving out the door at 9 am. we go, everyone is excited to be there, we get seats, i go get beverages, we are there before the movie starts , should be fab right? SURE until the movie starts, i pass out 10 cups of popcorn, Pierce is sucked into the first 10 of the movie, i gave him fruit snacks and popcorn to keep him occupied, i need to pee. i leave my kids with my sisters.

I truck down the flight of stairs,

come back and my sister has Pierce in the foyer. he couldn't wait for me. lug myself and my 30lb toddler back up the stairs. ahhh, he's antsy so i bust out the Charleston chews.

Paxton comes by on his way to the bathroom, "do you want me to come with you?" ( he says yes, and i would have insisted anyway, i am paranoid of perves that pray on young kids, when parents would assume they are safe to go alone, but i assume the worst,) i hop up, lug Pierce down with me, and we go in the ladies, poor Paxton is of the age(7) where the ladies room is no longer for him, TOO BAD BUCKO, you are coming with me . i go to, we finish, wash hands, and head back in.

trucking back up the stairs lugging Pierce i'm winded when i get to my seat.
Pierce is no longer entertained, and is inclined to wander, i hold him on my lap , feed him anything i can find in my bag, and hold him. he smacks me in the face, and proceeds to bite my hand. NO GOOD! i tell him to not do that. not even 5minutes later, he bites me again. ARGH. this time he cries when i scold him. rad.

movie is coming to a close, it's getting to the climax, and Joy is flipping out, and comes to sit with me. she gets over it quick and goes back to her seat. Then here comes Hope, so I'm holding Hope and Pierce, he is happy to see her, and gives her a hug, and almost a kiss, OR WAS HE about to bite her? I'll go with kiss.

AHA the movie ends happily ever after, Triumph and brother hood. and suddenly a herd of boys is on their way to the bathroom. in a pack i'll let them go. the girls have to go too, leaving me with 6 movie cups to carry along with 2 toddlers on my lap. as the rest of everyone is coming by.

they come back whine about taking a cup , i still have 3cups and am dragging the baby by his overall strap.

we met the girls in the hall. and assorted sisters and bloggers. i say hi , i counted up the kids. pass out the cups to carry, whines are met with threats, and we head on out. NO we aren't going to free lunch at the school, i am spent from this adventure. have fun with that .

marching out, in a random line, the 3 year old is wandering ahead while the 5 and 8 year olds, are wishing they could play DDR in the arcade. i order them into a straight line in age order, gather the 3 year old, and grab the baby by the strap again. we march to the parking lot through the flipping plaza, the stares are bad enough, and the baby is hopping like a frog the whole way to the car, as i have 3 movie cups in my arm. it was laugh or cry time, i chose laugh . but MAN it was too close to cry! i wonder why i do this to myself? i was way over my limit!

this kid is what makes it T.M.A.S.E.O.E. (aka torture mom and sap every ounce of energy)

the cups? went straight into the sink, i didn't care if they were full , after he spilled one on the counter. and here he is begging for root beer. Gink?
**EDIT**
GERKIN ANYONE?

a NICE SWEET GERKIN FOR YOU? AHH COME ON? nice and sticky!~

Oh and 11 hours left on the Preparing Wisely Giveaway. it ends at midnight.

Movie review?
Don't mess with the Zohan? funny! whole theater laughing out loud funny, but CRUDE, tons of sexual humor. and nudity. i'm no prude but really it was almost over the top for me.
i have a feeling there was a message in it. not sure what but yeah i was funny. and crude. not for prudes. or kids. and it had tons of funny stuff that wasn't in the preview.

Love the TMASEOE.....I did movie days two summers ago, when the 2 yo was an innocent 6 mo old, and I had an almost three yo, four yo, and 12 yo. The 12 yo went to the "older" movie sessions with friends each time, but always got out before us because they started earlier than ours....and she was late to her's almost every week. The littles....well, were too little to enjoy the flick and stay still. So we have bagged summer movie days for the last couple of years....maybe, and that's a big maybe, I'll consider it next year when my youngest will be 3 1/2. Until then, the thought of movies TMASEOE!

I love it! That is how I felt last week...after it was all over I felt like I was going to fall over. I thought, "Is this really worth it!??" I was a little bit more prepared this week so it was much better. I can't even begin to imagine doing it with all your little kiddos. You are awesome!

All I can say is you are brave to take 6 kids to the movie. Fun times!! That's great you have sisters and blogger friends to help when nature calls.

I need to watch TMNT with my boys, especially since it's about "brotherhood".

I really love the picture of the cups!!

It had been awhile since we had gone to the movies and so I decided to get the cups and then after a few days I realized that I had thrown one of them away. Now we have added a few more. But I can't handle 5 kids..I don't know how you do 6.

and I totally want to go see that movie!!
