WORDFUL WEDNESDAY-Running late,Tp'd, Birthday fun , Puppy Stew, and a woot off.

This morning we woke up barely on time to rush kids out the door, after a long night of Pierce awake in my bed. UGH.

then, Lance got a call from work. he was on the phone during medication and lunch making time.
leaving it to me.

and i got a call from Lance's mom. to discuss the weekend.

and we discovered we got TP'ed in the night. (i have suspects.)



the kids were livid. talking about revenge! (they have their suspects too. )
there was saran wrap around the pillars in an attempt to lock the gates.

i overheard Peyton saying he needed, "a sharp knife to cut it".
well Joy said, "no! i'm going to use my teeth."
i had to stifle my chuckles when Peyton agreed,"she does have razor sharp ones!"

there were oreos on the car, and the picket fence. (joy asked if she could eat them? of course i said no. so, she kicked them off instead.)

i was entertained if not a little frustrated at the distractions on a late morning anyway.

we had a quickie donut cake for Peyton's b-day
(go see the next post and wish him a happy one).




i have a cake to bake today. and i 'get to' decorate it.

and Peyton wants to go shopping for his own birthday presents with me today.
he got the expansion pack for Lord of the Rings online already.we went to prepay, and they'd just got them in so he got to bring it home on Monday and start playing Tuesday. super exciting at this nerd household.

it was a rough morning, but why fret, late is late. they wanted to take the day off, but i SO DON'T have the sanity for that. a bonus day off for everyone? HECK NO!

once everyone was shoved out the door. i had a minute with Hope.

we read the cutest book,

she went on and on about it afterward talking about what happens in the book.
it was a fun little book with a happy ending.

Today. until the woot off ends. some items only last a minute before they are sold out, and some last hours. last year for Christmas we got RC cars for 5 bucks each , some inexpensive MP3 players for the kids. and other fabulous things.
