calm and content (for 5 minutes anyway)
every morning when Pierce wakes up he goes directly into the dog room(room where we keep the dogs,also known as the store room or the soda room) and he gets a puppy. or two
he comes in(where i'm sitting at the computer),
and shows me the puppy,
he's just so happy to be awake and happy to have a little friend.
he promptly walks into the breakfast room. and sits down on the floor for a photo op.
every day. for the last week.
i don't always take pictures of it. SOME are grody with a snotty nose or crumby floors.
but everyday the look on his face is the same, fresh from sleep ...
Bliss.
of course later?
i hear the puppies whining because he was holding them roughly, or terrorizing them in some way.
but the first 5 minutes of his day are calm and content.

I love these pictures!!! He's such a cutie and looks so big! He's losing that baby face. Does that make you sad? It always makes me sad when my kids grow up.....whaaa!
o.k. I tries to comment on the last post and it wouldn't let me so I'll comment here instead. I am proud of you sticking to the budget and I think you and your Mom should figure out to make the petti skirts - it will be cheaper and you can make them in different colors!
