speaking of....a post that follows my random train of thought

i went shopping tonight. alone. it was ok.

i really needed an opinion on the purses i found. i was tempted buy more than one.

(and bring 'em home, take pictures, ask opinions etc. and then return the non fave ones)

in fact i found 4 purses i considered. so i wore them around the store.

trying them out.

yes i did.

i probably looked like a bag lady. with expensive handbags.

speaking of which...

Hope came up tonight, and said...."look i have my handbag all ready!"

hubtastic was like," it's a purse."

i thought it was funny. he looked at me like WTH is with this kid?

meh.

so while i was at TAR-JAY (target) i saw a guy in a kilt in the video game aisle.

seriously i walked by 3 times trying to snap a picture of it.

BUT, my dang camera phone wouldn't save the picture.

i wanted to bust out my point and shoot. but that would have been way less casual.

so yeah i'm a dork like that trying to sneak pictures of kilt wearing males in tar-jay.

hmmmm wonder what he had going on underneath? ;)

speaking of going on....

so far this week.I've got 3 lunch dates goin' on.

Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday.

and THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL. OH but it's not a half day! YAY!

i get to go to two assemblies.

Joy is getting that award for Winning attitude.

and Peyton is getting one for winning worker.

but they do 1st-3rd grades in one assembly and 4th-6th in another one.

so i get to hit two. yay me.

with pictures and video.

WHEE!

Peyton thought he should get a prize (toy) for being a winning worker.

hmmm, isn't the award and recognition enough?

we'll see.

so yeah there's a bunch more stuff that's been going on 'round here. it's riveting I'm sure.

AACK!

speaking of AACK!

so guess what..... people read my blog and don't comment.

it bugs . i kind of wanna go private from it.

that and anything i put out there can be found by anyone which i am WELL AWARE OF.

yes i am aware of it. and I usually don't care.

yeah i don't care. totally don't give a RATS A$$

speaking of A$$?

I'm supposed to stop cussing.

the kids are riding me about that. BAH!

so this morning i tried out FLIM FLAMMIT!

they all looked at me strangely. like HUH? the hubs even said , HUH?

i was miffed 'cuz dude if i'm toning it down you better freaking

take NOTE when i make the effort.

speaking of effort... go ahead and have a rad wednesday. really TRY to make it RAD!

speaking of RAD? i'll be out to lunch with the gals! it's the last lunch date of the school year. {{sniff}}

i'm sure the hubs wishes i'd stay home and mop or something but seriously i can mop after the kids are out of school

I MUST MAXIMIZE THE LAST FEW DAYS OF FREEDOM I HAVE.

and yeah you'd be surprised how free having 2 home all the time feels compared to having everyone home.

it really does feel SO FREE!

Have fun at all those assemblies, gotta love the end of the school year, there's so much going on. Definitely maximize your free time! I totally get the free feeling of only having 2 at home and I still have 3 at home and only 2 in school and it still feels freeing!

Gotta love Target! To bad about the picture of the guy in kilt...that would have been funny...isn't that something you normally see at wally world??...sorry!
Enjoy your last day of "freedom"...I can't wait until next year when my first is finally in kindergarten!

I hope that kilt wasn't wool.....that could potentially stink (no pun there) in your AZ heat!

I wish I wasn't sicker than a dog right now. I would've maximized the less children time I had this week. But it didn't happen. I even missed card group last night due to the illness factor.

As for the you can mop when the kids are home for summer...aren't they old enough to start learning how to do that themselves?! Train 'em up young! :)

There. I visited AND commented. With my 3 year old sitting by my kicking me the whole time. Now, no more going private talk.

I always need help with my purse decisions and sometimes pretending to use it is the only way to know.

Enjoy your lunch dates. I have a feeling I won't be doing much of that come this summer either. I think my diet with thank me though.

My kids are ALWAYS trying to get me to quit swearing. Its not working. I like swearing. I figure I could have worse habits!

I've said this a hundred times...

There are only a couple of words that are actual swear words. Of course the "f" word, and then there is "dog" spelled backwards, both followed by damnit or not.

Words like $h!t, damn, and hell are only rude around women. So by this logic, they are all fair game for the fairer sex.

Now with kids, its a little different. Of course, you don't want the kids swearing. So when you drop a cuss word around them, look at them, acknowledge they heard it first, and then say, "Mommy (or daddy) shouldn't have said that, huh?" BAM, you're cleared of all charges.

PS: Despite her repeated protests, it was my mother that taught me to swear.

So which purse did you choose?

I will be at both assemblies too! Ashley's receiving the same award as Joy! Finally it's Ashley's turn to receive an award, she's waited all year to get one! Felicia's in BUG club, but Nathaniel doesn't know if he's getting anything.

3 lunch dates? Who are all these people that get to have FABULOUS YOU at lunch with them?

Ok now that summer is here. Ummmm I mean after 3pm, summer will be here. LOL Anyway, we need to get our kids together more often this summer!

Have a FANTASTIC LAST DAY!!!

Was the guy in Target wearing a kilt 30-40ish? Did he color his hair? If so, he is in our ward. He wore a kilt to Stake Conference because it was "casual Sunday" with his Dr. Martin boots.
