Crazymamaof6 is in the hospital with Pancreatitis. She is therefore taking a break from blogging and facebook. In order to get better she is on strict regimen of IV fluids (yummy) and pain meds. They are therefore denying her anything to eat or drink for the next few days. The lack of Ice water and Dr Pepper is driving her insane already. You know how she loves a good beverage. Of course she would love a comment, and if you want here is a widget that leaves a message directly on her voice mail. Click on it, put in your phone number and it will call you.

Julie i am so sorry! that totally sucks! i have heard that is the worst pain ever!! i hope you are on the mend soon. the best thing to do is listen to the docs, i'm sure it is so hard not drinking anything but that is the only way. love your guts girl, this makes me so sad. hang in there.

That is just horrible! I hope you get better soon, and hope your out of that awful pain! they thought my sister had this but it turned out her gallbladder was shot to hell, and she had to have it out, hope that doesn't happen with you! Hope your kids are doing fine, it sucks that moms can never get sick! I'll be thinking of you, and looking for your fantastic blog about your experience soon! Carie

Major suckage! You have to be in those uncomfortable hospital beds AND they're NOT giving you any beverages or food?!!! What kind of treatment is that? How do they expect you to get better without your magical drinks? LOL
Really though, hope you get better FAST!!!

Joobs: I hope you feel better soon. I heard that is very painful. That sucks bad!! Hope they give you good meds. What hospital are you in?

Oh NO! If I were in AZ I would soo be there with ya. I would bring you good magazines to read, and a new novel that I think you would love. Sorry you are sick and I really hope you get better soon!
Julie I hope you feel better very very soon and that you get some good R&R in the hospital - did you tell them that you need to be released to a hotel with a beautiful spa and really nice room service for your recovery!?

I am so sorry you are sick. Super painful, too! Don't forget to ask for pain meds every 4 hours because the nurse can't bring it in unless you ask.

Oh JULIE!!! That totally SUCKS!!! I wish I could send you a care package! It would contain sunglasses, lipstick, a pedicurist, a massage therapist, a sparkletastic cup, a rabbit-poop ice machine, DP on tap, a tiara, and a bell for room service all wrapped up in a black and fushia zebra-striped bag! I'm so sorry you aren't well! Keep us updated!

Sorry to hear about your pancreatitis. My husband gets it all the time because of his health condition. It sucks. He was hospitalized last year for it, but most of the time he just stops eating for a few days until it goes away. (I know, he's crazy). He'd prefer to just take tylenol and not eat than be hooked up to an IV in the hospital. Hang in there--you'll be out soon enough!
