research papers and the internet
Today I am thankful for the internet.
google searches. online homework. cyber friends. blogging. facebook. email. streaming TV shows.
research papers where a WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD back in the day. and now some quality time on the computer, with my friend google, and i'm good! this totally beats card catalogs any day.
Today i have class and a working bibliography due. Wheee. of course i bs'ed my abundance of sources.
what i don't get is if I'm doing a paper on social Media and the effects on the rise in cancer awareness. why the heck can't i site mostly online sources? the teacher says no. but seriously i doubt there are many sources out there that are up to date enough other than online sources.
I'll have to take that up with him.

Hope you don't mind if I copy your idea. I think its great! Love the halloween post too.
The best way to do it is to find online sources and then look at the bibliographies of these sources. You can then go to these new sources and do the same thing. I wouldn't go more than 15 years old though. Eventually you will find the same sources are cited by a number of different writers.
great Halloween pictures

Since I went back to school last year I learned something...

You may not get the whole book and your eyes may strain from some of the print but sometimes it is so much better than hitting the library with children!
