that title is a little dramatic don't you think?

but seriously? christmas vacation starts here in less than 3 hours.

BAH HUMBUG!

it will be fine. with the exception of the chronic bickering we get to hear if they have too much quality time together.

but i'll get to sleep in later. HALLELUJAH!

tonight is the kids dance recital. #'s 1-3 have been in HIP HOP! with a couple cousins and a few friends.

I'm pretty excited for it to be over. after extra weekend practice, pictures, and dress and technical rehearsals. add those to band and orchestra concerts, piano recitals, the regional and state FLL competitions, 2 birthdays it's been a CRAZY month.

we have nothing in particular planned for christmas vacation and i'm thrilled! THRILLED! and they are old enough i can even leave to get some shopping done during the day while they are home.(the hubs is here too) WHOOHOO! my only challenge will be wrapping everything, and i've already warned the kids they will be going to bed at a regular time because i need a break , and have things to do. they weren't thrilled with that announcement but seriously? it's totally gonna happen.

so today i sent teacher gifts, just bath and body works holiday soap. i was going to make a tag that said - we "SOAP" you have a merry christmas!

but i ran out of time to make tags since i was up late doing something else instead, so i just told the kids to tell the teachers that, and i was met with GROANS? and "oh, that's is bad." and "LAME!" and that was just from the hubs.

the kids said...

"do I have to say that?" and "i'll give it to her, but I'm not saying that!"

thanks guys . sheesh.

when i had to add bows to the bottle the hubs questioned the time use. i said," it has to have a bow, it's part of my mystique. i have a reputation to keep."
