{1} What was the best part of 2011?

the hubs getting a job. ending a year of unemployment in our household for all of 2010. that was the BEST THING.

also the baby being born. pregnancy was hard this time around.

{2} What do you look forward to in 2012?

the kids going back to school on the 3rd. yeah, i plan extra far ahead. oh and disneyland. we are hoping to swing that good time this year. we'll see if that works out.

{3} Do you actually keep your new years resolutions?

not generally, except that one year i resolved to wear fuchsia. it was 1995.

i also decided i should act more prude and stop kissing all the boys ( i was 17) . the only one that worked out was the fuchsia.

i've incorporated fuchsia into all aspects of my life. it's my signature color because of that resolution way back in 1995.

i do however pick a word of the year. this year it was to persevere. it went well. i kicked A$$ at it. i revisited my words of the year in yesterday's post. feel free to check that good time out here.

{4} What are your top 3 resolutions for the new year?

organize.

simplify.

plan better. they all go hand in hand. don't they?

i mean i'm organized about a few things and others are ridiculously unorganized. i need to tame that beast and whip it into shape.

{5} Do you have any fun new years traditions or plans?

we party at home. sometimes with friends, last year with family. this year, i think it's gonna be quiet except for the fireworks. we toast with martinelli's and send the kiddies to bed well after midnight.

i would love to do an adult new years. i don't think it's happening.
