i walked into the room and what did i see???

sorry had to use this recycled post for Photo story Friday
PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

a pair of legs (under the cupboard door) hiding from me.

What is this sneaky kid into?

the popcorn balls that i'd hidden from little people.

Oh look! he found the perfect Handle for that sticky popcorn ball!

(yeah that is a comb.fabulous handle for sure)
mmm, take a bite! it's Delicious!

a really SHORT WHILE later...

i came into the front room to find him standing on my computer chair

do you wonder why? ?

Oh! because the door was locked and he needed to go out!

(probably to play in the hose again.)

~~

thanks for the participation on the school project!

we got an excellent response and with very little effort on my part!

i REALLY appreciate your help taking the time to answer those questions.

~~

i had a FABULOUS time at Bunko last night! thanks girls!

Brooke i LOVED my witch and cat ornament!

the kids woke up and were wondering how she suddenly appeared!

my silly boys pretended to be scared. hilarious!

~~

Joy lost her crazy double tooth (bottom left front) last on Monday.

and the tooth fairy actually remembered to come! WOW!

by the way, I am not the tooth fairy.

question to all the dentist's/dentists wives?

if her baby tooth was double/fused will a normal tooth grow in? or it will be double too?

i'll take a picture of it. it's odd. but COOL too.

Have a FABULOUS day!

again.

Just thought I would let you know from my experience about the tooth thing. I am NOT as dentist or a dentist's wife, but my son has one.

What my dentist told me is that the tooth underneath will not be fused (dentist call them gemini's). They look at the xray and can see if underneath there are 2 seperate roots. It is GENERALLY only baby teeth that are gemini.

Just out of curiousity, did the tooth fairy leave her double the funds because she had a twin?

Great job on helping with ELP projects. They are fun, but some can be VERY time consuming. My oldest still has some of his projects from years ago. He was even able to help someone by letting him use an old project last year. (I personally think he should have charged the child - hehe) :0)

I totally relate with the kitchen thing. I came in one day to my son drinking syrup. I am like: "Who are you, buddy the elf." I love that movie and all, but seriously, what is my kid doing drinking syrup. Next thing you know, he'll ask for it on his spaghetti. AHHHHH!

Cute, cute pics!

Great photo of Pierce, that child is a stitch...definately creative!

Pierce! Bwaahahahahaha! That's hilarious! and totally cute.

I have that same exact comb; now I know it has a dual purpose!

tammy said...

That Pierce is no dummy! He knows exactly how to get what he wants. I have soup bowls like yours, but not pink. I love that everything in your cupboard is pink -- so you!

And as a former dental assistant (and happily not the dentist's wife), the permanent tooth should be just fine and normal.

He's a monkey!

(Take the handle off of the valve for the hose....)

Oh Boy! You do have your hands Full! Pierce to to funny! Another smart child!

Congrats on bunko!

Genius popcorn ball holder! He is a funny guy. I was wondering about your tag. Is there anything we DON'T know? hahahha. Just kidding.

Connie said...

Jack had a double baby tooth, and the permanent tooth is fine....his only had one root, it was as though it had split.

What a funny and clever little guy you have!
It seems he knows exactly what he wants and how to get, you have to respect him for that.
My nephew had a double tooth and his permanent tooth came in fine.

Oh my Julie. He is one ADORABLE handful!

andrea said...

My oh my....he's got your ticket, doesn't he?!

I just don't know why the younger children can't just take it easy on his parents....from now on, just leave the popcorn within reach!

These pics are HILARIOUS! I have a climber at my place right now and he pretty much helps himself to anything he feels like--bet our two could go scale K9!

Thanks for your encouragement on my mushroom/toadstool/fungi growth--leave it to you to find the cool in my pitiful gardening!
Blessings!

LOL Pierce cracks me up! He is too cute and into everything, I love it because I can finally look back fondly on my time with Gavin doing that!

Cecilia said...

What a funny little Dude! At least he gives some good blog material right?!?!?!
Thanks for the laugh!

Pierce is such a little stinker but one of the cutest stinkers ever. LOL He reminds me of my Jaden he was into everything all the time and no child proofing could stop him. If it makes ya feel better he is 12 now and such a good kid. Though he still gets into things, pushes buttons, and tears things apart just to see how they work.

I want to see the cool tooth, and the witch and cat ornament. I love love love Halloween. When we go to Disneyland in a few weeks all the Halloween will be up I am so excited for that. WOOSY!

Shannon said...

Oh my, those photos of Pierce are priceless. What a crazy boy. He keeps you on your toes, I'm sure!

I asked the hubby about the fused tooth and he said that there is a higher chance of issues with the permanent tooth. Not 100% that there will be a problem but her odds are higher than average.

There are actually two dental abnormalities that appear identical to one another, but only differ in the number of teeth in child's mouth. These two abnormalities are called "fusion" and "gemination". In "fusion", two tooth buds actually "fuse" together and form one tooth. In "gemination", two teeth form from one single tooth bud, but the tooth appears to be bigger (double). With "fusion", there will be 19 primary teeth in the child's mouth and with "gemination", there will be 20. I have not seen any research yet that shows an association between fusion/gemination of primary teeth and fusion/gemination of permanent teeth.

hahahha, I LOVE it!! my kids were never climbers...I don't think I could have taken as many photos as you did to capture the feelings...I would have been screaming and removing them from the heights of certain injury. thanks for sharing that it is okay to capture the not-so-sure moments we experience as parents.

Howdy Stranger! LOVE those pics of that precious Pierce! How he must keep you on your toes--in the cutest way possible. I totally would have taken a bite!
Great pics! I'm amazed as usual how patient you are with your clan. You always seem to remind of some big life thing--you are so wise. Today's reminder--slow down! You never know just how good a comb will taste!
Thanks for the lesson and good to be back! I've missed all of your inspiration!

Gotta love finding kids secretly getting into things in the kitchen that they shouldn't be getting into.

Love the comb in the popcorn ball pic! What a genius!

raising4boys said...

I just love that first picture and how you started the story :) Gotta love little boys. So adventurous.

Anonymous said...

ah the joys of a climber. Funny though

Andrea said...

I LOVE the pic with just his cute legs showing behind the cupboard! Oh boy, I remember those days!! Climbing everywhere like a little monkey & using chairs as his stepping stools! We even resorted to tying our chairs legs together under the table (yes with rope) so the kids couldn't take them to assist in more climbing! hahaha Thank goodness we don't have to do that anymore!

I want to see the *twin* tooth!!

Shellie said...

I just adore seeing other people's kids act like mine. I want to hug that boy! Try doing him double as twins, that's the thing I've been doing for some 6 years now.
